A new generation of power engineering professionals is needed to operate and design our critical power and energy infrastructure as an unprecedented number, approaching 50%, will retire in the next few years. We ask you to consider investing in the future of the power system through a gift to the PCUE's educational efforts. The power system is a critical infrastructure which is interconnected and drives many other critical infrastructures, including water and communications. Also, many novel green technologies need to be integrated into the power system not only for reducing pollution, but for reliability under various system conditions. Private support from individuals, such as yourself, will be the difference in research and application of critical power systems as state funding continues to decline under the burden of increased competition for limited resources.
